Summer 2021 - and we are 1 year old!
This is Bandit! He is one of the 9 puppies from Zoe’s second litter. If we were to describe Bandit in a few words we would say that he is the best thing to come into our lives. Especially during a time like COVID, he filled our lives with lots of laughs and love. He has taught us to be patient, especially during potty training and compassionate when teaching him how to roll-over. His favourite things to do are chase squirrels, chewing sticks and giving all of his friends lots of kisses. He can be the smartest person in the room, especially when he is on the hunt to find his toys. He is the king of playing tag at the dog park and loves to spend his afternoons sunbathing on the deck. But, if you ever want to try and get a stick from him — good luck because he is running for the hills. We hope you love your Mini-Bordoodle as much as we do because Bandit has definitely changed our lives for the better.

Daisy, who knew when you came into our lives a year ago you would become our faithful, loving companion, alert watchdog and the source of endless activities? Our non-shedding border doodle. Is not only easy on our allergies, she is also whip smart! She easily earned the label of ‘over achiever’ from our trainer as she rapidly mastered all of the correct behaviors to become a well-mannered pup. So eager was she to learn that we made home made agility courses for her to run through in the yard. Daisy is spending her current days at the cottage. She goes on daily walks with her local ‘pack’. She spots them from a distance then grabs her leash to wait at the door for them to approach her driveway. With her instincts and intelligence, we’re hoping to take her to some group training sessions in the Fall. Best wishes to anyone lucky enough to have one of Zoe and Angus’ pups in their home.

Ghostie is good, she is very active with lots of personality. She loves playing frisbee and she is currently learning to choose between ‘ball’ and ’frisbee’.

Izzie is a wonderful companion. She loves to play and knows her toys by name! She is very curious and wants to know what is going on all the time. We are finally able to get out and about where she enjoys meeting new people and playing with other dogs.

Nova has been a sweet, smart and special addition to the family. He loves going boating, hiking through the woods, swimming in lakes and small rivers, and loves to play with our boys. Games like "dig a hole in our garden" and "pull my sock off" seem to be especially interesting to him but less to us! He is able to high five, fetch, jump over, turn around and lie down. The best part of his first year is finding a puppy girlfriend.

Riley is the perfect pet. House training took literally 24 hours after bringing her home(Thank you Thornhill Bordoodles!) Her BC wants to be outside often. Gentle but curious always. Likes independence but knows a good cuddle when it is needed. The Poodle part of her is so playful.

A very good communicator: She Tells us when she needs to go out. ‘Talks’ AT us when it is time to play!
Sleeps to our schedule: 10:30 last ‘walk’(2min) -wakes up around 8:00 am
She is excellent with her commands: (Start with the ‘come’ command as soon as possible-Riley only comes with “Cookies” command!
Sweet, gentle natured, athletic. She loves walks, a good rawhide bone and park play with other dogs- all sizes! She is beginning agility training and well trained.

This is our Sadie who we call “Slim Shady”. She earned the nickname because of her long, slim legs and the way she follows us around like our shadow. She loves to be outdoors and go for really long walks, or just hang out in the backyard digging holes to bury her toys or chill by the fire. She isn’t a fan of the blender, salad spinner or anything with wheels (bikes, scooters, strollers) so our walks can be challenging at times. Her biggest fear is walking past a sewer! Despite her very independent nature, she loves to snuggle and gives kisses on command. To say she’s made our home happier would be an understatement. She’s our best friend and we love her 🥰
