Mr. Bingley ~ Summer 2020

And what about that Mr. Bingley?

Mr. Bingley is my first dog and he’s amazing! He’s very smart. Very smart. He seems to have a strong prey drive which isn’t ideal with our cats, but we’ve made it work.

From the beginning, he’s slept through the night and is happy to go into his pen for bed. Potty training was a breeze. He loves to play ball, run with dogs, and sit on my lap with his antler. He went through a chewing stage but we’ve controlled it with lots of antlers and other chew toys that he can sit and eat for hours!

The best thing about Mr. Bingley is he has an absolutely lovely disposition. He’s stubborn and he’s too smart for his own good, but he’s also manageable. Not too big or too small, he clocks in at around 30 pounds. Which is good… he likes to be picked up and much bigger wouldn’t work! I won’t lie and say it wasn’t hard in the beginning. There were tears shed on more than one night while we were getting used to him (and him to us) but with training, patience, and lots of love, I truly can say that I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thanks to Tracee (and Zoe and Angus) for the great dog!!
